"Hol' up" Yall going back off my boy Kirko Bangz

A few years ago, Houston rap scene was on the rise with Paul Wall, Chamillionaire, and Lil' Flip, but it has been lowkey for the past few years.

From an old guy:

Y'all need some threads that fit your aura. Got more youngunz traipsing around with their knickers showin' than Carters has Little Liver Pills. Shove your 8 track in and kick out the jams in the vehicle of your choice, but make sure you have some Crager Deep Dishes or Baby Moons. I, personally, have a Jimmy in-line 6 with three on the tree and ganster white dual ply skins.

There ya go, old time buzz words.

Ronnie

What I meant by cliche is that there is a commonly accepted image of what someone from Houston will act like, not saying that we act like everyone else. It is sorta sad what happened to our "recognition" compared to around 5 years ago. There have been some really solid releases and some very hit and miss moves by a lot of rappers from Houston. The dead career list is becoming quite large. Chamillionaire, Lil' Flip, and Paul Wall have sort of faded into the oblivion. Oh well....the classics ain't going nowhere.

Jill Scott has a new single out featuring Paul Wall, so I guess he can still be considered relevant. Flip was alright, but I was never a fan of Chamillionaire, anyway.

He was on CSI too. Not sure if that makes him relevant though.
