Looking for suggestions on best sushi in houston. I know i could look at the best of list but i feel they are biased sometimes. I want the real sushi lovers opinions. I have not found a place I love in houston yet. Do most of my sushi eating on west coast. Soooo tell me where to go!!!

Little Tokyo here in Pearland is the one I return to again and again although Sakura at Pearland Town Center is good too. I also really enjoyed Ra but it was too loud and busy.

Oishii on Richmond has pretty good sushi happy hour but gets pretty crowded quickly. Ra is nice but it's kind of like the Cheesecake Factory of sushi places IMO. I went to Miyako's the other day for the first time and I liked it a lot.

I'm eager to try this new Uchi place that's opening up on Westheimer and Montrose. I hear it's supposed to be quite good.

Miyagi in the chinatown area is japanese mom and pop operated. Its quite nice to have a chat with them while prep'ing and eating, unlike those with mobster looking chefs

Koto at Westheimer and Wilcrest.

HOLE IN THE WALL, but some of the freshest and least expensive sushi in the city. Lots of good things on the menu... Josh W. roll is a must try.
