I see. My apologies then. Yeah I meant a condo unit.

Wow I always thought that apartment complexes are the same as condos.

So does that mean that apartment complexes doesn't come with HOA but condos do?

Correct. The complexes have an office, with a full-time staff. Their salaries and all other expenses are covered in the rent.
