As far as Romo, there isn't anyone out there thats available thats better and he's actually having a good year this year. But of course, Cowboy fans never realize how good they have it until its gone. Maybe we can grab Rex Grossman and you'll be happy.
I'm sure the Texans front office wouldn't mind trading Schaub for Miles Austin or Dez Bryant. TJ Yates has taken the job away from Schaub. Texans need to trade up and draft Justin Blackmon in the draft. They can finally take a luxury pick high for the offense.

This tone this thread started out with is ironic. Below is the thread for the Mavs championship. Not one mention of Houston or the Rockets in a competitive fashion by the Dallas fans:

Im happy for the Texas seeing as this is a milestone for the program. As a Cowboys fan, I would be upset if the Redskins, Giants, or Eagles won their division, but the Texans are not rivals.

Schaub was having a great season before his injury. Do not give up on him because your third stringer played well today in one game. You'd be labeled as fools.

Its called being a state rival, not a division rival.

Duh

Dallasites would like to think there are more Cowboys fans in Houston than Texans fans which is just not the case.

Why are you bringing a whole other sport into a football thread anyways? Slightly off topic.

The fact of the matter is Dallasites only pay attention to Houston when they are winning (aka bandwagoners) & would like to think there are more Cowboys fans in Houston than Texans fans which is not the case.

Instate rival? No that's between cities. Not teams. Dallas fans pay attention to the Giants, Skins, Eagles. Out of the division, we consider the Niners, packers, and steelers as rivals. Everybody else is another team in the league. And your definition of bandwagoners is flawed. Most Cowboy fans root for the Texans. And you missed the point on why he poated that link. You are a bad mirepresentation of Texan fans

So are you implying Houston's instate rival is Arlington?

Teams represent their cities right?

Is that not a rival by every definition of the word?

Schaub was not having a "great" season. Look at his stats. He was pure game manager. Yates has shown he can sling it, too. He has a stronger arm than Schaub, tougher in the pocket, more mobility, better coordination, and better pocket presence. Only thing Schaub has over him is experience. Yates is a diamond in the rough QB pick. Tom Brady 2.0 and the NFL better watch out (I'm completely serious here...the kid is the truth). Rookie 5th Round pick played well against playoff contender Atlanta last season. Then today in his second start and first NFL road start, he leads his team down the field for a his second game winning drive of his career (with no timeouts). He had some CLUTCH plays down the stretch. Clutch City is back.

Metro Matt is not a good representation of a Texans fan. Most Texans fans right now are celebrating our first division championship and looking towards getting homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. Texans fans aren't thinking about the Cowboys. But this is City-Data and the thread was created by MM, so it shouldn't be surprising, tbh...

Now that's a bunch of BS.

The Texans represent Houston & the Cowboys represent...Dallas, Irving, Arlington, Valley Ranch, San Antonio, Tarrant County, North Texas, or America?

The World may never know.

Well you saw them more than I so you maybe right. I do remember that Oakland Int in October. Whoa. Just saw his stats. Those numbers were pretty pedestrian. Probably because he was missing his number one Target.
