A young woman from Houston successfully landed her plane in a Conroe street after an engine failure.
Small plane makes emergency landing in Conroe | Newswatch | a Chron.com blog

The pilot, Sarah Chantal Rovner, was doing a Civil Air Patrol flight from West Houston Airport to Lone Star Airport. This was at night, with few visual aids. She had completed around 100 hours of training before the accident flight. It was a very skilled, successful emergency landing.

She has been compared to Chesley Sullenberger by one news story: Pilot makes emergency landing in Conroe - KIAH

Excellent job. Lots of wooded area out there, so I'd imagine it was very dark when the emergency occurred. Amazing that she also managed to avoid colliding with any traffic, as TX-105 is a busy road. So much composure and skill for someone so young.

Thank God. This may not be the appropriate timing but that's a very sexy feat.
