Power to Choose

pick the lowest rate with a contract term you like.
doesn't matter who, they are just middle men.

I look for the ones with a one year contract.

I just picked energy providers today due to moving. Not much to it. I went to power to choose and picked the second lowest price one because the lowest price one didn't turn up any review results. Bounce Energy FWIW.

Why didn't you go for Brilliant energy

8.9/1000kWh fixed

If the monthly usage per ESI-ID is more than 999 kWh per billing period, there will be a $0.00 Minimum Usage Fee. If the monthly usage is 999 kWh or lower per ESI-ID, there will a Minimum Usage Fee per ESI-ID of $8.99 per billing period.

how is Brilliant energy

Your quote depends on your zip code I believe. Mine was 7.1c fixed with Bounce and 6.9c was the cheapest with Today's Energy but no reviews so I didn't go with them.

Energy companies are just "billing companies" they do not provide power nor do you contact them if you lose power. They only send you the bill.

Just pick the lowest and the one that has the lowest fixed costs.

Just make sure you go to the actual website and not just take the info on powertochoose as gospil. Sometimes the rates change and that site doesn't get the most up to date rates.

Out of three, I had the best experience with Brilliant Energy and they were the only one I could find that didn't tack on the extra monthly fees. Read the fine print carefully ...

They are my recommendation.
