Hello.
I am a senior interested in moving to Spring, TX. I looked at the online Houston Chronicle for rentals there [had a hard time with that part of their online paper, so maybe I made a mistake], and found almost nothing. Tried over and over, but only brought up a few things. Are rentals hard to find in Spring? What about the cost?
I am on a low fixed income, would prefer a duplex, or some one level place with a fenced yard, or one I could fence, two bedroom. Also interested in senior complexes, if they are one level, with private yard. I have excellent refs, no smoking, so on. Spring seems to have alot I need, plus is supposed to be affordable, and more of a small town mode of living, which I prefer.
Any information about Spring, and/or rental housing there, much appreciated.

You should be able to find gobs of rentals in Spring. There is even a senior housing facility for those on a fixed income. It's located at Louetta and I 45.

For the lowest priced rentals, I'd check 77373 first, then 77388 and 77379. 77380 and 77386 may have some good options too, if you want to be further north.

Bluelion and houstonborn, thanks for the information. Actually just found something that appears very suitable in another area I am also interested in.
