I commuted from Energy Corridor to Greenspoint, which took around 35-45 minutes arriving at the office around 7:30-7:45. Same home only later, around 6pm departure time

are you trying to say that is a good commute?

greenspoint and the woodlands are not neighbors to one another

EC to The Woodlands is an hour minimum. With, against, or around traffic. Add another 30 to get into a Katy neighborhood.

I wish you the best. You could look at it as an adventure and move even farther north of The Woodlands and get acreage before all the Exxon people come in. I understand many want acreage type places around or even past the lake.
