Just wanted to get opinion on how safe/or not it would be to walk after a concert during the weekday down Kirby...from Reliant to W Bellfort. Have a friend that lives nearby and suggested we walk. I don't mind doing the walking in the afternoon, but not sure about the area at night. It may be a non-issue, but wanted to see if anyone here is familiar with the area.

Other considerations are still on the table: taking a taxi or just driving to the yellow lot on Main St and suck up the parking crazyness.

If anyone have suggestions I will appreciate it.

Go park in a lot somewhere and ride the light rail to and from your car.

Take the metrorail for $1.50. It ends on Belfort. You could walk too, should be fine with the rodeo going on.

how far does he live down W. Belfort? In the immediate area there isn't much housing. It is a very long street. That is one hell of a walk after a concert, drinking and in the dark

Take a cab if it's that close. I use to live 1.5 miles from Reliant and we either walked or called a cab which costed us about $8.
