I don't know. I mean, if I were going to spend that much, I would explore every avenue of research, including getting unbiased local people's opinions. Realtors just want to sell. And they have their own ideas and opinions. This is a relocation forum. Didn't realize there was a max budget after which people shouldn't be asking questions.

A person with nine million dollars to blow is not going to be on a forum were the average person on here probably doesn't even make six figures asking about houses in River Oaks. Thats totally different than asking what is sugar land and the Height is like.

Really? I know plenty of people who make tons of money and spend millions on homes...and I am on this forum. In fact, I have relatives in Houston who would have very useful and relevant information for this op, considering they are super wealthy and involved in a lot of real estate investment.

If this is a troll thread, what kind of **** is it trying to stir up? Usually the trolls say something inflammatory and controversial.

Sorry, not buying it. If he has that kind of money he should be talking to Martha Turner.

Either way, it's going to be a big change from Pearland.

For 11 million (probably cheaper now, 9 mil might work) you can get the penthouse at the top of 2727 Kirby.
Those are pretty nice pads, I got to photograph them.
