Actually I would take it just where it is! But only if someone bought it for me

If it were my own money than I would rather be up in the mountains overlooking a beautiful ocean...dreaming of my Texas BBQ!
If it were my own money I'd rather buy a nice average home that my family could be comfortable in and use the other $8.5 million to put one hell of a dent in homelessness in America. Not to mention feed millions of hungry Americans who are struggling. A whole side of America people with that kind of money don't ever see nor do they admit they exist.

Well I would rather have my money to do with it what I want.

Instead of seeing our govt. bail out banks and investment companies when their CEO's are still taking home huge bonuses...rather see it invested in Americans that do need help and who are willing to help themselves. I personally think if the govt. is going to bail out the crooks and then allow them to go back to business as usual then we are a stupid nation. Instead of wasting time and effort on half of the things that we do...we should all find a way to stand up to our govt. and demand that our tax money not be wasted...like it is. However throwing money at homeless people does not solve the problem. I grew up the poorest person you have ever met...from that upbringing I grew strong and wise. I have worked for everything that I own and I worked my way through two degrees...I did all 100% by myself! Luckily I was able to obtain student loans and some pell grants. Even with loans I still had to work. A person with my drive and ambition who came from where I came from certainly needs help. But I was able to make it happen...it took me longer to get to where I am in life...but if I can do it I know if others have that same drive and desire that I had to make something of my life can do it as well. If you don't have the drive or ambition...no amount of money is going to solve your problems.

Rather than the govt. bailing out the crooks I would rather have seen that money going towards student loan debt relief. I sure could have used some of that money for my student loans that I am still repaying...I am sure many others could have benefited from having their student loan debts paid off rather than bailing out the crooks!

If someone wants it bad enough they are in the right country to make it happen for themselves. Especially living in Houston where there is plenty of opportunity to make something of your life. That is why I love love love Houston...I had the best time of my life growing up there and making something happen for myself...and it was quite an adventure. If I had grown up in a small cow town I would not be where I am today. Houston will always be high on my list of great cities!

Ok I just opened my bottle of Malbec! Cheers Dreaming of that house up in the mountains overlooking the ocean with the bright almost full moon shining down on me!

I saved my Chateau Lafitte 1870 for an occasion like this. Hang on while I run to my cellar and get it.

IMO, I don't quite like this if I had the money, not my style but rich ppl love mediterranean stuff HAR.com is your friend.
Eww. That house is gaudy as all get out. If I had the dough and got a mansion it would at least look somewhat homey.

Some rich people's taste is really funny. I'd think sometimes you'd want to kick back after making all that money. The furniture doesn't have to look Marie Antoinette and Queen Anne, stiff and proper all through the house

I like something a bit more comfortable looking and less Louve looking

This is the most expensive house in Houston on HAR and it looks a bit more cozy that that River Oaks one. Love the living room. That first with such huge furniture makes the ceilings look abnormally low.

The listing realtor reminds me of what Melissa Joan Hart's mother should look like, lol.

Kind of looks like Neverland from the aerial view doesn't it?

But it's funny. It's HUGE yet the inside furniture is more normal looking like someone with a 100-400k house would have. While the other is much cheaper and they went all out with the we have MONEY! Gotta have HUGE and expensive and expensive looking furniture.
