My wife works in the Med Ctr and I work from home (although I have to travel occasionally). We are interested in something updated and <$400k that is zoned to Bellaire H.S. Something like this meets the criteria:

It's listed at $185/sf. Is that about the going rate for updated homes in Willow Meadows? How is Red Elem.? We have a 9 year old...

I live in Willow Meadows 2 blks south of this house it is a really nice home the area is nice so close to everything right now that house is the best deal in all of Willow Meadows

IMO Willow Meadows will be your best bet for your criteria. As far as $185/ sf you're definitely looking at a substantial markup for Bellaire zoning. A couple of blocks south in Willowbend you'd probably be looking at about $150, for much the same "feel".
