Oh, I am. But sometimes it's just too obvious. And too many things can be debunked, because they didn't do their basic research when constructing their stories...then I "go all" EasilyBored.

Please tell me you're from Dallas. That might explain such a shallow and haughty attitude. You must be new to money if you even have any.

Plus SW gives you free bags, which can be an extra $100 round trip ($25x2x2)

That is true, but elite status with UA gives you more

And clearly leisure travelers are not willing to pay the money to do so. Passengers are voting with their feet for less service, despite the complaints.

It's quite cheap! And you get better service.
I have never flown economy for the last 20 years, and have never complained.

What the hell,
did I just shoot myself in the foot for buying tickets to fly United instead of SW to Colorado?
Main reason I did it is because I live much closer to IAH than Hobby.

Usually they would have neck at neck prices. Maybe the particular United flight you were booking was almost full?

Not sure, but it was a last minute business trip to New York via EWR-United's turf. Nevertheless, that's a considerable difference! It's starting to look like much if not most of my domestic air travel will be trending toward Southwest. I'm cool with a connecting flight occasionally!
