I am new the Cinco Ranch area of Katy, and I am looking for a really good hair stylist. When I lived in Oregon my stylist I went to did a consluation before your hair cut to insure what you wanted to do. The first time I went to her she asked me about my routine for my haircare and what I did as a profession.

I am wondering are there any hair stylist that are around the Cinco Ranch area that do that same thing and are good too because that is important. I have gone to visble changes in memorial city; I didn't like the haircut. Now that my hair has grown out I am looking for a very good hair stylist. Preferable someone that listens to the client and knows how to cut thick hair without butchering it.

I recommend Mo, the owner of BH Hair Studio on Cinco Ranch Blvd across from CRHS. He knows how to cut my very thick hair and takes his time making sure it's exactly as I want it. Not cheap, but he's worth it.

My gal is Mary at Wen Chic (Fry & 99). She does a great job and is a good listener of what you need

That's who my wife uses, too. And she drove in from downtown until we moved out this way. One word of warning, he seems to be unable to cut and talk at the same time. And he likes to talk.

I think it was about $85 for a cut.

No, he does not do highlights (that I know of). They have color specialists there who do the highlights. Have to admit I had to google balayage highlights -- never heard of it, but now I want them!!!

Another option is Highland Salon and Spa. Shaun knows how to work with thick, curly hair, charges about $55, and he did a great job on my hair when I couldn't get in to see Mo once.
