I've searched and can't find any info...

There is some major highway construction on 290, mainly along the feeders, just north of the premium outlet malls. (Just past Mason Rd area, near Fairfield.) They are building some ramps and redoing the feeders.

Does anyone know what they are doing? The actual plans, not conjecture.

It might be the connectors to 99, but since this construction runs parallel to 290, it can't be 99.

And I don't think it's the connectors, they aren't big enough. Unless there is more to come later.

Yes, it all has to do with 99, which will run south from there.
And the design of whatever they are doing probably has something to do with the upcoming 290 expansion.
