Hi We will be moving to Bridge land and would like suggestions/help in terms of what water softener to product/installer to go with.

Does Bridge land have well water or city? Our builder does not provide the softener and has suggested that we get one ourselves.

We are a family of 4 and therefore not sure what product will be fit for us.

Thanks for your help.

We have used both a Hague WaterMax and a Dupure Refinex Elite. Both are really nice and work well, and around the same price. They soften AND filter the water to some degree, getting rid of the chlorine and metallic taste/smells.

Upon moving in, you will be sent cards from several companies. Talk to your neighbors to see which they are using and if there have been any problems.

our one neighbor that I got a chance to talk to says the builder provided him with the system however our builder does not. I want to find out which softeners are not too pricey but does the job. The builder says they refer Dupure but cannot provide any information until we close as its not part of their contract.

Do you know how much you paid for the Dupure softener? Also how often do you have to change the filter etc if there is one?

Thanks

No filter. Just add salt every so often. One bag is only $4 at home depot.
Expect to pay well over $2k for a good system.
