Hello, guys.
I took my little boy to visit the Chidren's Museum of Houston today and I parked at a meter, and dropped quarters in it. About 2 hours later, we walked out of the museum... and they gave me a $70 ticket!!! The ticket says my car was parked in a tow-away zone, but also shows the meter #. How is this possible? Also, the meter window was covered with bird droppings, and I think the guy read it wrong, to be honest.
I contested this ticket at their website. I would like to know what is my odds to win or lower this ridiculous ticket? All info is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

You're odds of getting it reduced is actually pretty good. My ex and I got a parking ticket this past summer and we were parked legally and he was able to reduce it from $50 to $20.

Not good odds if it was not dismissed and they only reduced the amount you had to pay, especially if you were parked LEGALLY.
