I'm switching to Comcast from ATT DSL right now.
ATT is saying my modem is going out, and its not under warranty. (constant ISP disconnects)
Might as well try another option since I have to spend money anyway.

Always buy your own modem and get a good router.
The ones Comast gives you are crap.

I'm giving this Motorola all in one a shot.
They wanted me to buy an off-brand modem with a full rebate after 30 days, but I passed on it.

I would be weary of an "all-in-one device wireless" device like that.
I picked up a similar version of this MODEM refurbished for $70 a few months ago.
As far as a router look at the Linksys E3000 or an ASUS router.
