Dear all,

We are planning to move from California in order to settle down, buy a home and grow a family. We have looked at few of neighborhoods in Cypress and Spring area like Spring Trails, Discovery at Spring, Bridgeport at Cypress and Sydney Harbor. However, we are not sure regarding the ISDs. Can you please advise on the school rankings in these neighborhoods?

Are there any other locations to consider that would be closer to Houston Airport (IAH). Both of us travel a lot for work and would prefer to have something closer to the airport. However, the ISD need to be exemplary.

Cy-Fair ISD is a very large and well-regarded district and the areas you're looking in Cy-Fair (Bridgeland, Sydney Harbour) have good schools. You may also wish to check out the Longwood/Coles Crossing area - excellent schools.

I have friends in Spring Trails (Conroe ISD - Oak Ridge) and it's a nice neighborhood, schools are ok.

I would avoid Spring ISD.

You may also want to consider Kingwood as it's very close to IAH.
