We're moving back to the States this month after over 5 years of living overseas, and I'm so out of touch with what's going on with cell phones. My husband and I are looking for the best plan / service. We may or may not have smart phones, depending on how much it is per month. We won't have a home phone, so a good amount of minutes and texts should be included.

--What is the best (or worst) carrier in the Spring/Woodlands area? Are any of them known for dropped calls/ridiculous rates/awful customer service/etc. Each city has their own quirks for cell phone companies that you can only find out by talking to people who have had the service.

--What are you using, and are you happy with it? Would you recommend it?

at&T in spring is not bad. ( drops here and ther ein the woodlands, if you drive further in) however it could be my phone.
verizon seems to be pretty solid.

i have experience with both. one personal and one work phone.

Now that you've been back in The Woodlands for a while, I was curious as to which option you went with and how it's working out for you. I used to have AT&T in the loop but am considering Verizon for The Woodlands.
