I am getting a Resin Shed for my backyard and am trying to figure the best approach to the foundation. The shed is only 8*9 and I am wondering if getting someone to pour concrete would be overkill ? The other option is a treated wood foundation and I am not sure if it would be able to stand up to a hurricane !

Thanks

We have a 8x10 metal shed in our backyard and it was installed on cement blocks with a treated 2x4 base and exterior plywood decking. The decking has deteriorated and I plan to replace it with some actual deck wood or the plastic equilavent at some point. It has held up well (except for rusting a bit) over the past 13 years, but considering we put it in the very corner of the yard, it has a fence on both sides for wind protection.

I used some cheap $3 solid cement blocks, some 4x4's on top of 4 rows of blocks, and then screwed a deck out of 2x6's on top of the 4x4's.

That damn think will blow away or get crushed by tree branches in a storm so it would be best to take it apart and stow it in the garage.
