Has anyone taken the time to calculate what percentage of JimBaker488's posts are about United Airlines?

Hey, that sounds like United lately!

BTW, I had to use United last week for a trip to the East Coast. They SUCKED. Delay after delay with no explanation. Cheesy little plane drops us out on the tarmac. I miss Continental. Next trip we're using Hobby and Southwest, do not want to deal with United and their poor service again. I don't much care who moved what headquarters where, but I won't put up with bad service.

Say I'm wondering, 'bout how many passengers do they have to hospitalize every week for getting trampled when they load up those cattle-cars at Hobby ?

I think you need to remember that IAH is owned by the City, not UAL. No different from Hobby, UAL has a requirement to utilize their gates to a certain capacity. If they choose to forego that option I'm sure Delta, AA, Alaska and even Frontier would be happy to have some additional gate slots in the 4th largest city in the US. That's even before we start talking about potential foreign carriers such as WestJet, Mexicana, etc.

Seriously, why would anyone fly United out of Houston? Southwest goes to all the domestic locations of any consideration. And, certainly, one wouldn't take a domestic airline on international excursions (e.g., Emirates or United to Asia - no brainer). **** United.

Have you actually been on Southwest at any point in the last 5 years? Probably not, as a United employee you probably can't fly any other airline.

Get over it, that's life in the real world of business.
Chicago also took Boeings headquarters and everybody is doing just fine in Seattle and Boeing remains one of Seattle's biggest and most important employers.
Grow up, get over it and move on Houston !
So why are you crying about united Houston made a business called based on the fact that it saw a chance to expand (i.e) more money for Houston.THEM MOVING THEIR HQ toChicago just showed Houston that we cant put all are eggs in one basket , so we decided to expand it business like you said, SO GROW UP

Oh you mean the place where you Houston taxpayers are parties to a 3/4 of a billion dollar investment which they are in the process of undermining ? How soon before you guys down there ask Obama to bail you out for your stupid fiscal decisions ? Guess you can get in line with California and Detroit and Chicago, huh ?
