With all of this rain (I'm not complaining- just stating a fact, our pool is green no matter how much chlorine we add. Any suggestions?

You should shock it few times. Else take a water sample to Leslie Pools or Pool Warehouse folks and they will tell you what to do. If that doesn't work then is time to get a professional to help you.

Get a good test kit, shock & scrub. Visit: Forum Index • Trouble Free Pool - great site for understanding pool chemistry.

Also make sure during the summer you run your water 8-10hours a day. You have to maintain a good balance and you shouldn't have any issues through the entire year.
But for now shock it few times and after the green is goon bring the pool back into balance.

No need for a pro, with regular testing it's easy to keep everything in check.

You most likely are NOT using enough chlorine. You need to shock the heck out of it. Also, the ph is probably way off.
