My boyfriend is looking for a car to buy for his youngest daughter so she can get out to interview for a job and then hopefully use for her basic commuting needs. He's looking for something that is very inexpensive but still running well. He can take care of minor things that may need fixing but it still should be in fairly decent condition. Mileage isn't a big issue (within reason) and neither is color, style or much of anything else. Does anyone know where we might be able to find something really quickly? Thanks...

Craigslist. I've purchased and sold my last 2 or 3 vehicles on Craigslist and wouldn't do it any other way. Buying directly from 3rd party saves you a few thousand bucks. I'd buy a week pass to Carfax and run anything your'e interested in and definitely have a mechanic look er' over before purchase.
