Wondering if anyone has experience or suggestions on how to go about doing so. We prefer to deal locally than online.

Thanks!

I've dealt with Houston Numismatic Exchange before in Rice Village. Houston Gold Buyer & Seller – Sell Gold Coins in Houston They gave me great prices for the coins I sold, and they sell a lot of coins also. Seem like very honest guys that have been in business for decades. I had a bunch (hundreds) of coins from my grandfather that we sold, and one of them they said was platinum. They could have easily told me it was just silver and I would not have known the difference.

Just make sure they don't charge you too much over the going rates over spot price. Good comparisons can be found on APMEX. If you're buying generic rounds, it shouldn't cost more than a two bucks per round over spot. GL!
