Anyone seen the new Houston Chronicle online? Wow! What an improvement! Interesting stories, nice layout. It's almost, dare I say it, tasteful.

Looks good, but I still can't find the op-ed page. Guess I'll have to keep reading the real paper.

Why read the op-ed when the crazy comments are even more opinionated and entertaining?

Sometimes I think the commenters are all the same 3 people with different names. Kinda like the politics and controversies on c-d.

There is only so much of that a semi crazed person such as myself can stand.

Its just putting lipstick on a pig. That rag of a paper leans so far to the left its not worth picking up. Its circulation is so low that they throw the Sunday paper out for free all over town just to be able to make their advertising circulation numbers.

I have called and tried to get them to STOP littering in my yard every weekend and they continue to throw that piece of junk in my yard. Every week I have to pick it up and place it directly in the trash. I think I am going to take a pile of my trash down to their offices and just drop it all in the lobby...I see little difference between doing that and them throwing their trash in my yard.

I'm so fed up with the media and news outlets that I haven't even paid attention to see if it was an improvement.
I pretty much expected to be the same c.... with a different look.

BTW, does anybody know where the "Perry Presidential" section went?

Yeah, I'm the same. I usually stick to BBC news. Sometimes I'll check the Chronicle out of boredom. But this time I was pleasantly surprised. There was a human interest story on the cover and I read the whole thing. I think that's a first.
