Great news story regarding Buffalo Bayou Park. The American Planning Association has named Buffalo Bayou Park one of the top 10 great public spaces in the USA!

Planning group honors Buffalo Bayou as 'great public space' - Houston Chronicle

And things will only improve at Buffalo Bayou Park as the $55M upgrade won't even be completed until 2015! Can't wait to see the finished product!!

An award from a planning association... hmmm, I guess Houston doesn't have the worst planners on the planet.

P.S. GO HOUSTON!!!

Default best place to start?

We went for the first time this winter, and I can't remember where we parked, but we were right in the thick of the construction. Where is the best place you enter and which way can you go (east or west) for it's most beautiful aspects?

There is much more construction right now and will be for the next year or two. There is no better place than the other to enter. It is a work in progress right now.
