I've been reading this forum for a number of months without posting anything, so I apologize that I'm asking for input from y'all with my 1st post!

I have been given the task of lining up a caterer for my office Christmas party. The event will take place in someone's home as we've done over the past 10 years. It's always at the same persons house, and his wife has taken care of the catering in the past...she's too busy this year. The house is located close to 1-10 and Barker Cypress (Green Trails in Katy - right by the Second Baptist Katy Campus). I'm leaning towards using Carrabba's because I cannot come up with any other choices.

Food needs to be above average (we've used Churrasco's in the past).
Price is not an issue.
We will be feeding around 25 people.

I would be grateful for any suggestions you throw my way.

TIA

You looking for restaurants or a personal chef?

Johnny Carino's did our wedding, it was great if you like Italian.

Casas catering does a nice job with office parties. They usually put out a holiday catering menu around this time if year. You might give them a call and they can send it to you if there isn't one posted.

Can you not ask her who she used in the past? For 10 years she's used different people so used someone from like 7 years ago that they haven't had in awhile.

We're not looking for a personal chef! Thanks for the Carino's suggestion, I'll check them out.

:: Welcome to Casas Catering ::

Thanks for the link. I'll see if the holiday menu is online yet, or I will give them a call as you suggested.

I remember several of the restaurants we've used in the past. In fact, I could look them all up since I have access to all the paid bills, however, that would be tedious. Besides, wouldn't it be nice to try something different? Since the reason I was asked to handle the catering this year is due to her being too busy, there is no way I'd bother her by calling her about this.

It is good to try something different sometime. My suggestions are as follows;

1. Table of Grace Catering-local, full service caterer with experience in small and larger gatherings. 713-503-8631

2. Antonia's (Italian specialty) Again local 281-644-600
