All I gotta say...
Keep on whining about the GWB tax cuts (fiscal cliff) but they gotta go
Ever since they were enacted, our country went into crisis.

Reality of the GWB tax cuts (fiscal cliff)

LOL @ the intolerance and the ignorance of hard core liberals!

I think for most people the FACT that Obama barely won Harris County by such a small margin means that Harris County isn't made up of ONLY the big government/gun abolishing/fetus killing/gay marriage chanting Nancy Pelosi types. Much to your (and Dopo's, and left falling people of the like) dismay, Harris County actually has some conservative values, unlike any other county with same size.

I'm truly sorry that is disturbing to you guys. Go move your hineys to New York along with all the other hard core leftists.

You guys should be happy that your Savior won another 4 years and be happy with that. As for the rest of us, we can't wait until 2016 (assuming Texas doesn't seceed by then).

I'm no one's hardcore liberal. Despite my support for Obama on most issues, I don't agree with all of it. I'm certainly not intolerant, either. I've more than just a few friends, family members, and associates who vote Republican. And guess where 80% of them reside...IN THE SUBURBS.

I've always known Houston's suburbs were red. That's not news. You're the one pretending that the entire county is saturated with conservatism. You're the one who doesn't comprehend that Houston =/= Harris County. You're the one pretending Obama didn't win this county. Close or not, he still won it; meaning that most people in Harris think more like me than they think like you.

I'm independent (support keeping every single politician accountable on a monthly/yearly basis)
but based on your comments, sounds like you live in a Limbaugh propaganda bubble

The fact that the obaminator won is no clear indicator of anything right or left, whichever side of the political divide your on .The usa has a multitude of social and economic problems that will not go away.Exacerbating these problems is a plethora OF NEW EPA RULES AND REGULATIONS which will hurt all americans, except for the very wealthy who are always immune whoever they voted for. Despite what the empty suits and skirts say obamacare will cost more $$ and force many doctors out of business. Our economy will be in neutral or no growth until our so- called political leaders tackle the real problems affecting the usa.

You know what's actually forcing doctors and nurses out of business? A new law in Georgia that requires them all to submit proof of citizenship. State can't keep up with the paperwork and their not getting their licenses renewed. That's real. On the other hand, nobody can predict now what effect Obamacare will have on various sectors of healthcare, not even experts, and probably not you.

Incidentally, can you imagine what our air would be like now if it weren't for EPA rules? We'd probably all need gas masks. But some people would be making more money, so I guess that would be worth it!

It will force doctors out of business. That is the exact same thing that was said when medicare was enacted. By me and thousands of others.

A small reminder. If there is a top comprised of self motivated, smart entrepreneur types who are mega earners, there also has to be a bottom. Everything is relative. Some people are not capable of taking care of themselves. I take your point that it is the perception that most of those are lazy ass bums.

What would it take to identify the incapable from the bums. Are you willing to pay taxes so that those folks are cared for?

I love drinking water and I love to breathe too. I'm ok with the EPA.

How will millions of newly insured people force doctors out of business? That's crazy talk.

On one hand, I think abortion should be legal along with gay marriage and I think invading Iran is stupid and we need to leave them alone (they hate us for a very good reason...look up "operation Ajax"...its not like they just hate "freedom" or whatever else stupid rednecks think)...I think anti-porn software on all computers is absolutely moronic (and no fun either) and much of the great food I enjoy in Houston is made by illegal immigrants.

On the other hand, I do not want to pay for medical insurance or else be fined...and I definitely do not want to be taxed to death like some people in other states such as very liberal Massachusetts where the tax rate is something like %30!!!!!

Thats why I didnt vote. I agree with neither of them.
