Great for recent grads! Huge 1/1 in Midtown!!

I saw this apartment listing. I've always wondered what these apt complexes were like. Many of them have great pools, plus the hot weather plus the young professional crowd and naturally my imagination kicked in at some point. LOL. So then I see this. Is this really what it's like?

It doesn't look diverse.

Well, what exactly are you looking for? LOL. It's in one of the more affluent hoods with rent leaning towards the higher end. I'm sure there are some Indian doctors in that building that work at TMC but that does not look like their scene.

The picture is real, see it for yourself on Zilow:

Very interesting, but I have never thought Midtown would be very Orange County-like. However, I think you tend to find fitter , tanner dudes and girls in the pools in OC (than those in this picture).

No. People don't just congregate by chance like that in Houston; it's not that dense. It had to be someone's pool party. Something also gives me the feeling PR ordered Shamu out of the pool.

Yeah weird right? Houston is so hot all the time but those people are whiter then white. Come on guys, would it kill you to get a little sun? LOL. Although most of those people look pretty fit for a random group of people. Granted pools generally attract fit people but I'm surprised everyone is as fit as they are.

Default Yes...

You should have seen their Halloween parties. I live close by, and when walking to a restaurant on the weekend before Halloween, I thought there was some event going on, lots of people entering the complex in costume, and with booze. 'Turns out it was just the Halloween party going on. I bet it got very interesting.... meanwile, the family and I kept on walking.

I have several friends living in Midtown and spent a lot of time there and I've never seen a pool with even a quarter the number of people. This looks like someone had a end of semester pool party.

Oops didn't notice the date. End of March. When was spring break? That would explain the lack of tans. That water must have been... refreshing.
