Several of our neighbors have used Restore your door as they are just down the street from us. From what I've seen they look good. But I redid ours with a good Minwax stain and used their marine grade clear on it about 8 or 9 years ago, when the door was about 5 years old. Then we got a full view glass storm door and it has held up great since then. The storm door was well worth the $200 or so we spent on it.

I highly recommend Restore Your Door. Right down the street from me. I've used them a couple of times. Reasonably priced and fast turnaround. The first time the door was in terrible shape and it was $355. A few years later they did a touch up for $105

We used doordoctor.us, which we found in our community newsletter. They did a good job.

Get a quote first cla. It sounds like it's just the bottom of your door, not the whole door. The bottom of your exterior door will always show the signs of wear the quickest. You may not need your whole door refinished, just the bottom.
If the rest of your door looks great, don't let em sell yeah on refinishing your whole door..My point is 2 shop around, and get a few quotes and opinions.
