Anyone know what will be built there? I recall the land was graded a few years ago, I think they stopped due to the downturn in the economy. However, I've seen it's been marked with stakes, and there is now heavy equipment on site. I hate to think another Nail Salon, Mexican Restaurant, Mobile Phone store, Cleaners and Donut shop. What did I miss?

It was being marketed a few years ago as a retail center - WoodCreek Commons, but was pulled when things slowed down. I'll see if I can find out anything else.

Update - looks like it is the original Woodcreek Common's development - found mention of the project on a 2012 City of Katy city council agenda.

I thought that HEB was supposed to be built there. Then HEB was built in Katy Main Street Development ( I-10 and Pin Oak ) . I know the HEB that was just built in Fairfield had a sign "HEB coming soon" at 290 and Tex 99 but they moved it to 290 and Mason. The Fedelis flyer years ago showed a big main shopping area with pad sites in front but that's gone. Now all it shows is the pad sites. Its just amazing all the construction going on in and around Katy. On the north side of I-10 and Pin Oak has 95 acres for sale that was suppose to be The Villages at Katy but development fell though.

Default Yes...

HEB originally was going to the Woodcreek Reserve space. Good thing they moved because even now, it seems small.
