I've posted here, in the past, about how a Reliant Energy auditor came out and did a very thorough energy audit on my house in 2011. I got some great energy-saving tips and the auditor even found some errors that a major a/c company made when installing my new a/c unit a few months prior to the audit.
During the audit the auditor also called the Reliant office and got me out of my then-current contract (mid-term) and into a new contract for 8 cents/kwh.
Reliant just sent me an email advertising its energy audit program again. Below is an excerpt from the email. You do have to be a Reliant customer to get the free audit.
