If the distance traveled remains the same ( about 30 miles inbound) how does driving in westbound on the 10 compare traffic wise to coming in on the 59? I am considering moving a bit south of where I now am and this would change my commute.

Sure...
Does the west bound 10 experience significant backups around 6:30 AM and where do they usually begin (what road/area). I commute in via the 59 right now and its usually not too bad unless their is an accident.
Would I encounter more traffic on the 10?
