Yup, I know it's a very odd question, but I'm looking to rent a Delorean for a day. It will be used in a video project. I've called a few exotic car rental places here in Houston, but no luck. All of the online rental places don't show to have Deloreans either.

It's a long shot, but maybe one of you know of a place or of someone who is willing to lease one for a few hours for some video work. No hard driving will be done. It will serve mostly as a prop for a few scenes.

Thx!

Houston is actually a pretty good area for this. I think a company east of town bought all the old tooling, and has a bunch of old dmc stuff lying around.

Im sure there are a few cars around that parking lot.

Good luck.

Edit, here you go!

Awesome, guys. Thanks a lot! I shot an email to someone at the DMC motor club and I should hear back soon. I also called DMC (they still make them!..well, refurbish old ones to new condition, using new parts). They also referred me to the DMC motor club, as they handle similar requests fairly often.

Thanks again guys for tips!

Don't know what your timetable is but if you can wait until the first saturday of march, go to Coffee and Cars off louetta. There is a group there. You may be able to talk one of them into letting you use there vehicle.

Ditto. It is in the Vintage shopping center parking lot next to the HEB at 249 & Louetta. I know there are a couple that I've seen there the times I've been. Plus I know there is at least one in full "Back to the Future" gear running around. I saw it at my local Kroger one evening, but once I got my camera from home and got back, (like 3 min later) it was gone!

Good luck!
