I'm still getting used to the new body style. It's a bit too angular for my tastes, but it's growing on me. I have to admit - I like the look of the new ES better. I'm not falling into that trap again though.
I felt the same about the GS initially. I thought it was a little to alieny, but it really grew on me and she liked it either way. Her second choice to test drive was the ES, which is slightly less in cost, but we never got around to test driving it. I think she was pretty much sold with the GS. The GS has 3 driving modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport. Default is normal.

One of the features she does use is the On-Star like system. Forgot what it's called, but basically you press a button and someone is at your service. You can ask them how to get somewhere and they'll give you turn by turn directions, what time Barnaby's closes, how tall is Yao Ming, etc. Basically google, but talking to a live person which comes in handy when driving.

When I got my GS, we actually went to get an ES. My husband test drove it and said he didn't like the hesitation when he hit the accelerator. The salesman, in all his sneakiness then told him just for *&^'s and grins, to test drive the GS.

Well... you see how that story went.

Now I'm in an IS, that makes the ES seem like a dream in acceleration.

I used that once, during a driving rain storm. I literally could not see where I was going. I pulled into a parking lot and remembered it. It was awesome! The person sent the signal to my nav system. I was literally about one street over from where I needed to be, lol.
