Seems like a waste to me. I think I have used it once as a child. Sounds like a waste of money.

The system still works effectively, and safely as far as I know. Just because it's old doesn't mean it's obsolete and should be junked, but last I was on it it was in need of a referb.

FYI, the PeopleMover at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom is still in operation as well, not sure where you got the 'Former' from. While it's changed names over the years, and has had theme changes over the years, the ride system is unchanged from it's introduction in '75.

Yes, it's still very much running and it's always on time/working.

I agree. Just because something is old doesn't mean it needs to be replaced.

I road it for the first time with my kids this Winter and it was great.
Why do people want to get rid of something just because it does look "cool"?
What they need should do instead is expand it and find a way to run another one outside that will take people to all the parking garages.

Well then, let Marriot pay for replacing or upgrading it.

Thank you everyone, I hope the kids will enjoy the ride and we'll be on time for our flight.

I thought this was interesting...

George Bush Intercontinental Airport inter-terminal train - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"The inter-terminal train is the only WEDway people mover built by the Walt Disney Company outside of a Disney property."
