Need recommendations for accident lawyer anyone has worked with. Or any suggestions.

Quick Info.

Involved in an accident back in Nov. 2012. Damage to both cars, but obviously fault was with other driver. The other driver even said so. Their insurance information was given to me, and claim was submitted.

Fast forward 4 months. Insurance denied claim due to the other party being uncooperative. (They were never able to contact the other party to validate my claim they were involved in the accident.) Their insurance company told me, they deny claims and suggest I peruse them in small claims.

My insurance provider also attempted to contact other party on multiple occasions but no go. They also suggested small claims. Uninsured or under-insured does not cover due to other insurance claim denial.

Info I have of other driver.

- Picture of damages to both car
- Picture of their Insurance card
- Picture of their license Plate
- Picture of their drivers license.
- My damages ~$1,400.

Make sure you have the denial letter from the other parties insurance company as well as yours. If he failed to cooperate with his insurer, hence the denial, that certainly won't help his defense!

Was there a police report? I thought when someone was at fault, their insurance had to pay. But if no accident report, then I guess it comes down to a "he said, she said" kind of thing. :-(
