I am relocating from Florida and will be working in the medical center. My budget is $1500 a month for renting a house. I seem to be priced out of Pearland since I am looking for a 4 bedroom house. I am looking into Humble but what is the commute time please. i need some help fast as I will be leaving Florida on the 28th and I have no where to live

Houston Speed Map Archive
Input what times your driving to get an idea of your commute

Did you consult a realtor? $1,500 should get a 4 br rental home, maybe not new, but I'm almost certain something built in the 1980s in any of the Houston suburbs.

MLS # 34526763 - 1950 Doliver Cir, Missouri City TX, 77489 | Homes.com

There's one basically in Quail Valley neighborhood of Missouri City, took me less than 5 minutes to find, I'm sure there are many many options within your budget.

Just take Fort Bend Tollway to US-90 to Main Street, very easy commute to the medical center.

If you're working in the Med Center, a commute from Humble is going to be loooong if you're working anything outside of night shifts.

4 beds for $1,500....hmmm....I'd probably look in to the Heights or Oak Forest area. Closer commute and you may be able to find a 4-br home for that price...although it will be tough.

No way will you find 4 bedrooms in the Heights or Oak Forest at that price.

$1500 for 4 bedrooms will put you in the suburbs most likely. If you drop your requirements to a 3 bedrooms, and schools aren't a concern, you can find something in Westbury or Robindell, either of which would be a very good commute to the medcenter.

You can find them. We rented a 4br in Garden Oaks not too long ago for $1,200-$1,300/mo. They're not high end by any means, but you can find them in the Heights/Garden Oaks/Oak Forest area for that price.

Talk about a late start.

Most of the places close by are already pending then it moves out and commute time gets nasty. Why didn't you start looking sooner? Are you leaving as in you need a house by the 28th? Or are you coming to look in person? If it's the former...wow talk about a late start.

Could you not get a short term apartment until you find something?
