We live in Pearland and drove to Houston to see the doctor through 2 of my children's babyhood and toddler years. My children saw Dr. Dreessen because he was my pediatrician and I loved him and wanted my children to be seen by him. He retired when my children were 17, 13 and 9 and that is when we switched to Dr. Kinalska. I think if you have a great doctor that you love, the distance doesn't matter. I could always get to the doctor in 25 minutes anyway.
I'm glad I see so much positive feedback for Dr. Kinalska. She really is good!
Good luck!

Oh. I meant to mention that my wait time over the years has been between 15-30 minutes.

Our older two were seen by Dr. Boardman at the Houston Pediatrics location of Texas Children's Pediatrics on Bellaire. The other doctors at that location were great too, Dr. Roland, Dr. Schlegel and Dr. Dickason we all saw. Our younger two went for a few years, but it got to be a bit too much to drive 20+ miles (in traffic) for sick appointments when the appointment they offered was only 20 or 30 minutes later! So we switched to the Cy Fair location that is 5 miles from our house.

One thing we did miss is the Saturday appointments the Bellaire location offered for sick kids. We used them often when our kids were young. They tend to get sick Friday night quite often!

Good luck!
