We are considering joining one of these soon. Looking for family oriented place with nice workout facility and kid friendly pool. Anyone know what the initiation fee and then monthly requirement are at these two? Also any feedback from members or previous members would be helpful.

Houstonian is much nicer. I am not a member, but my sister has a membership to both. I have been to both. I have several friends that are members at the Houstonian. One takes her little girl there a lot.
