Hi,

We would be moving to Sugarland area by 1st week of June 2013. Looking for good and safe apartments having decent desi crowd. Would prefer apartments zoned to Clements High School or Dulles High School.

I've already spoken to Foundations at Austin Colony(earlier known as Gables) and Fairmount Apartments - they do not have 2Bed 2 Bath apartments available till mid June.......so looking for other good options.

Can you guide me in this matter please.....thanks for your inputs.

If you want desi neighbors in the complex, check out the complexes adjacent to the BAPS temple. I believe they would be zoned to Dulles.

There's a lot of apartments east of Dulles Ave in Stafford that I think are zoned to Dulles MS/HS: Shadowbrooke Apartments, The Trestles, The Vinings, Preserve At Colony Lakes, Lakeland Estates, etc.

Indians are located all over the Sugar Land area. The area is safe but I'm sure the standard apartment nonsense applies, a person just needs to take normal precautions. The actual City of Sugar Land would be the safest.

Dulles HS zoning (apartments):

Most of the Dulles zoned apartments are in Stafford all in the same vicinity, I left out Stafford Oaks which is older.

some others...
Foundations at Rivercrest, Foundations at Edgewater located in Sugar Land.
Quail Valley Apartments in Missouri City.

I'd recommend looking at Regency at First Colony. It's zoned to Kempner along with most of Telfair, Telfair is known to have a very large Indian population. Just don't take an apt along Hwy 6 cause it will be loud. Kempner if I'm not mistaken is now ranked at as good as Dulles if not better.

There aren't too many apartments zoned to Clements, it's the #1 ranked non-magnet/charter HS in all of Greater Houston.

You can also look at Broadstone New Territory which I believe is zoned to Travis HS. Large Asian and Indian population in New Territory, though New Territory is split between Travis HS and Stephen F Austin HS. SFA would be where most all the Indians in New Territory attend.

For what it's worth, my education friends would consider Kempner the best high school in FBISD. Clements is too psychotically competitive and Travis is very overrated. Austin is great also.
