I am planning on selling some firearms but in a city this size I am not interested in publicizing my address. Does anyone know of a gun store or pawn shop that would allow me to meet a buyer and make the transaction on premises for a fee?

For some buyers I would want to run an NICS check also (for an additional fee of course).

Yea, if I was meeting face to face I would meet at a safe place. Collectors would be good. I need to get rid of one of my guns. I never shoot either of mine. Where did you sell yours?

Have not sold them yet but was considering using backpage which is like Craigslist except they allow guns sales: http://houston.backpage.com/SportsEquipForSale/

The problem with selling to local gun shop is they will not pay you a lot for the gun. They buy cheap so they can resell high. You are better off try selling them locally. I have sold a few locally to local gun forum members and also sold a few using Armslist.com. Armslist.com is free and you can specify local sale only.

With that said, let me know what you guys are selling, I might be interested...

You're making it more difficult than it has to be.
Texas Gun Trader

I've sold several on there. Just state buyers need CHL to avoid messing with the background check stuff or at least require bill of sale, which you can print yourself.
You can also use the Texas CHL forum and Texas Gun Talk.

Yeah, Id list on TGT. I also prefer dealing with CHL'ers. Its my own background check. And dont mess with a bill of sale, its completely unnecessary, and IMO, an invasion of privacy towards your buyer.

Also, tell us what you have.

This probably isnt an option unless you have used a gun store before, but Id talk to them about taking a gun on consignment if you really dont want to sell it yourself.
