If it makes you feel better, I haven't seen any around. I have seen alligators and have heard all about this latest 'gator on the scene.

Default Snakes, Frogs and Spiders - OH MY

I have seen gators a plenty in south florida where I spent most of my summers - and these don't scare me much so long as they are more than 8ft away. But, I hate hate hate snakes! I saw a garden snake in my friend's yard the other day and couldn't stop shakin off the heebie jeebies...they really just freak me out. I have tried touching and holding one - so yes, know they aren't slimy and that not all are venomous, but I just CANNOT deal with snakes. I find them absolutely awful

Sampaguita - how many frogs do you see around Sienna - my hubby (originally from Florida!!) hates frogs, hahaha. What a bunch, right? And what about spiders? My son has a case of arachnophobia! No kidding, he won't walk past a web until I remove or vacuum it and look for the spider. We get tons of spiders out here, especially wood spiders. He freezes up and won't even move, just points.

We are IN FOR IT, I know! We joke about it all of the time - how we may all end up home bound and possibly in bubbles if we don't get over these ridiculous fears while living in Texas - the land of all things critters and bugs.

I see a lot less creepy-crawlies here than I did when living in The Woodlands. Must have been all the trees!

Not too many spiders but we do get those huge mosquito spider-looking things (I forget what it's called) but those along with the dumb fly-into-everything-and-fall-upside-down June bugs make my skin crawl. Harmless both but still...eew!

I don't see frogs very often - definitely not like you'd see in FL or in the tropics. It might be another case though if you choose a house near water.

Me too! Freak out, throw something at it and run. I'm extra like that.
