We just closed on our house in Aliana this past Friday. I'm trying to setup our utilities, but the city of richmond website isn't very helpful. Can I put in the request online or do i need to call in or go there in person to do it?

That is not in Richmond city limits. The actual city limits of Richmond are tiny. Aliana is probably closer to Sugar Land or to Cinco Ranch than to Richmond proper.

I would think whatever Fort Bend MUD serving Aliana would be the entity you want to contact. The HOA there should be able to give you more info.

Also, even if you bought a resale home, I would go to any of the model homes in the community. They should have a fact sheet for you of who to call for utilities, etc. in your neighborhood.
