Before The usual Ban wagaon people hop on and start talking about how this is proof that pavillion failed and that Green Street will fail Scott did not chose to close Green St canceled there lease with some crap about it not fitting in with their vision of the future of Green St.

So weigh in was it a smart move to kick out one of your more succuessful tenets? Personally I think this had something to do with the House of blues lawsuit from a few months back.

It was a stupid decision to force closure on this bar. This is definitely a Houston gem that improved Houston's night scene in a more centralized manner. Scott gertner worked hard to bring back the skybar after nearly 3 years of people waiting for it to re-open back up. It's a shame that they had to screw him over like that!

Well that didn't last long. They should have stayed at their other location anyway, this new place in the pavilions sucked.

I agree. It was clearly the clientele (urban crowd) and they just didn't fit in the future vision of the place. Green street's loss... hope it works out.

So is the inner loop practicing ethnic cleansing here? Scott Gertner's told they don't fit the "vision" but petes dueling piano bar still there.
