You may want to check out this site: www.NeighborhoodResearch.com. It may be what you're looking for. I used them to find my current apartment in Houston and am happy with the results. I was looking for low crime and good schools for my 7 year old and the site showed me neighborhoods that matched what I wanted. Pretty cool. Good luck on your move.

Thanks modster, dcg123 and mr football. I will start by looking in West University Place, Southside Place, Bellaire, Parkwest, Meyerland,Heights Blvd,Garden Oaks, Timbergrove & Lazybrook. Hopefully will find something in those areas. If not will have to go to Sugarland.
How efficient is the park-and-ride in Houston. How much time will that take from Sugarland to downtown.

Zip code 77060. We lived there for about two years and it was a very unpleasant experience. My husband and I both worked in the Greenspoint tech area and that's why we decided to live nearby. Both of our cars got broken into several times no matter what time of day, whether we were at home or at work. It seemed like a common thing. We eventually moved to the Woodlands which is about 14 miles north. We loved the Woodlands and stayed there until we moved here to Austin. Anyway, I would definitely recommend the Woodlands area or some of its surrounding neighborhoods. I have a sister that still lives in the Woodlands and she has two girls... schools are great, neighborhoods are safe, it's great. My advise is, speaking from experience, it's okay to work in that zip code, just try not to live around there if you can help it =]
