Yes, chankanaab beach is where I always go. It's only 21 bucks to get in. If you are wanting good food, I wouldnt go there though, it's not a place to go for food. There is nothing special about it. It's just a great beach to go to with a good price, decent snorkeling, and decent bamboo huts that serve alcohol (try the black monkey). just take a cab there and you'll be there in 10-15 minutes. the more ppl you have, the cheaper it is. cab ride is about 20 bucks one way. so if you have 5 adults, you can get out of the trip with just paying 30 bucks, plus whatever else you spend while there (souvenirs, drinks, food, snorkeling)

xel-ha is a 5-6 hour tour for the eco-park. i dont know how long the diving is i didn't do it. you can go a bit faster and a bit slower, but i wouldn't depend on it.

travel to, paying, and guiding up adds some time esp. if coming from cozumel. if you have an 8 hr port day it is possible i guess. a lot of people i've been there with were from cruises but i dont know if their boats left them behind
