That's funny.

And I agree.

Black Friday has the best deals of the season though. Surprised many of you here skip Black Friday.

Christmas shopping on the computer is boring. I know that traffic and crowds can be hell, but I don't really care. It just doesn't feel like Christmas unless some grandma somewhere is getting tackled for an Xbox, or we have a mini-riot at Wal Mart.

We're also gonna be getting some cool weather this Friday, so that just adds to the Christmas feeling.

You can get some good deals on Black Friday, too.

Not me..........I don't find that black friday holds any better deals than just shopping around comparing prices on any other given day.

also, i don't do the christmas thing, so even if black friday had bargains it wouldn't make a difference in the scheme of things.

Besides 1/2 of all people going out making purchases will do so using "credit". My philosphy is "if i can't buy it with cash, then i can't afford it" (excluding my house of course)

Well, don't forget Xmas is just another day for some of us. Contrary to popular belief, not every Houstonian or Texan is a Christian. I'm agnostic leaning towards atheist so I don't celebrate it. I do get caught up in the external trappings... sans gifts. That is, I enjoy going to see the lights, the block parties, how the city dresses up a bit for it; I like the spirit of it, just not the religious or commercial aspects.

There is really nothing I'm needing that I saw in the BF ads. But I will be out there because to me it's a blast. I love watching people on days like BF. I am going with a friend who has a long list of "wants". I offered to run interference for her....which means I'll trip and fall and fake an injury in front of the crowd so she can run a snag what she needs. lol. j/k
