My husband and I currently rent in Cypress because he was working in Navasota short-term, but he will soon be changing locations to 249/Beltway. I currently work from home, but hope to find something local in a year or two and it would most likely be downtown/Energy Corridor. Can anyone advise what the commute would be like for my husband from Westbury to 249/Beltway? It seems like I'm still seeing a handful of houses on HAR.com and are within our price range and zoned to Parker (first child is currently on the way).

ETA: I'm really not a suburb kind of person, which is why we're considering Westbury. I'd also be interested in Garden Oaks/Oak Forest, but that's pushing the upper-end of our budget.
